MagniBlend® Magnetic Agitator

The MagniBlend® Magnetic mixers (also called magnetic agitators or impellers) use magnetic fields to induce rotation in a magnetic impeller placed within a liquid or solution.

The magnetic agitators totally eliminate the need for mechanical seals and shafts that could introduce contamination to the solution, making them suitable for applications with stringent purity requirements.  The absence of mechanical parts in contact with the fluid simplifies the cleaning and sterilization process, reducing the risk of cross-contamination.

Magnetic mixers provide gentle and controlled mixing, which is particularly important for applications involving shear-sensitive materials, fragile biological samples, or delicate chemical reactions. MGT developed the lowest-shear impeller to handle the processes.

These low shear mixers are commonly used in various laboratory, pharmaceutical, chemical, and biotechnology applications.
