MGT’s hydrofoil impeller is designed to create efficient axial flow patterns.

The impeller is designed to be precisely cut by laser, curved and angled blades that resemble the shape of hydrofoils and create a flow pattern that promotes axial movement, pushing the fluid parallel to the impeller’s shaft.

Hydrofoil impeller blades have a relatively flat profile compared to other impeller types, allowing for efficient fluid movement without generating lower shear than high-shear impellers, making them suitable for shear-sensitive materials.
